Cab from Oakland Airport to Hotel?
I am flying into Oakland tomorrow for work. I have to get to my hotel, In Emeryville. Anyone have any idea how much a cab would cost. I looked at San Francisco Taxicab Commission's website, but I am looking for a real life example not some calculation from a website that will probably be way off. I'd rather not take a shuttle since it seems to take over an hour to go the 12 miles.

Standard fee is $3.00 to start and $.26 for every 1/10 of a mile (unless they've raised them this year). So depending on traffic, somewhere between $30 and $40.
