How do I become a police officer in California?
I am currently attending college for my AA in Criminal Justice, how do I join the police academy? What do I need to do? I would like to work in Oakland,Ca any suggestions?

1.) Go to Police Station 2.) Get Application 3.) Complete Application 4.) Turn in Application 5.) Wait until they call you and tell you the next step.

you check to see if the city you want to work for is accepting applications for Police Officer. You then apply, test, interview etc....
